Saw this 1973 Ronnie Lane set up At UCSB outdoors in the Santa Barbara Springtime sunshine. Henry Gross then Dave Mason And then Rod Stewart & the Faces. Un real dance party with thousands of California babes in the sun...

Aretha and Rod,are definitely 2 icons and 2 class acts.They just compliment each other perfectly 🎉🎉 An oldie but,definitely a goodie being sang by 2 beautiful and phenomenal voices. This is a priceless experience 🎉🎉

These guys had FUN when they played live. I didn't get to see them but I have no doubt that a Faces show is one to remember. Look at the pieces; Rod, Woody, Ronnie Lane, Kenny Jones and Ian. My God, what a lineup. I want to point out Ronnie. His tone and his playing is very much like Woody's bass on Beck-Ola. Just in your face with hair on the gain. Their music is timeless. Along with Badfinger, The Faces are one of my all time favorite bands from Great Britain.

We were lucky enough to get balcony front row seats for this one after many Faces gigs in the middle of the crowd rushing the stage. It was odd waking up the next morning without being black and blue! The best live band of my lifetime and the Edmonton series of gigs had them at the top of their game ❤

This was Ronnie Lane’s last performance with the band. 😮

Quality. I’m 70 this year and still love the Faces. Timeless classics.

I was there; my very first live gig aged 14, and ironically the Faces last! Supported by the superb Strider. What a gig, what an initiation into live music; never to be forgotten. The absolute best 'pub rock' band in the world...

Thanks for uploading. Got to love Rod's good humour. He's right though, someone can be really attractive and have no sex appeal. Sexy is just your appearance. Sex appeal is your personality. People with sex appeal are often just semi attractive but captivating all the same. As Steven Spielberg says, he would choose sex appeal over good looks each time for his films.
